In the Jalpaiguri district of the Indian state of West Bengal, Lataguri is a census town located in the Mal CD block of the Malbazar subdivision.
On National Highway No. 31, Lataguri may be found beyond the boundaries of Gorumara National Park. Lataguri is the place where you may get permits to access Gorumara and the Chapramari Wildlife Sanctuary.
Till two decades back, Lataguri was a small village on the highway that ran through the Dooars. The sawmills there were well-known. The center of tourism activities in the Dooars is currently Lataguri.
